Create your Heron account
Your Heron account keeps the list of your mailboxes and your settings, and syncs them across all your devices.

Your Heron account isn’t a new email address: it’s what links your devices together. It keeps the list of your mailboxes (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud…) and your settings. Add a mailbox once and it shows up everywhere.
Create the account
- Open Heron. On the sign-in screen, click No account yet? Create one.
- Enter your Name, your Email and a Password of at least 8 characters.
- Check I accept the terms of use and the privacy policy (you can read them first: terms, privacy).
- Click Create my account.
A short tour of the app appears, then Heron helps you add your first mailbox.
Good to know: pick a password you don’t use anywhere else. It protects access to all your mailboxes through Heron.
Sign in on another device
On your other computer (or, soon, your phone), install Heron and click Sign in with the same email and password. Your mailboxes, their colors, their signatures and your preferences are already there. See Sync across devices.
Change your name or password
On a computer, open Settings (⌘ ,, or Ctrl , on Windows and Linux) → Heron account. You can change your name and password there, or sign out. On mobile: Settings → Heron Account.
